Welcome
After serving for several months in interim
capacities, I am pleased to announce that Jo and Ben Orr have joined the All
Saints’ staff as Choirmaster and Organist, respectively. Jo will work very
closely with me in developing new music programs, projects and events as
well as being responsible for the day-to-day operation of the parish music
program. Ben works under the direction of the choirmaster, plays the organ
and piano during our worship services, gatherings and at choir practices,
and performs certain administrative and support functions to ensure the
smooth operation of the program. Both Jo and Ben are members of the parish
staff and work closely with other staff members to ensure that all
programming and liturgical efforts are well planned and supported.
As you know, Jo and Ben each bring extensive and varied experience to our
music program. Their continuing leadership of All Saints’ music program no
doubt will ensure that our strong tradition of excellent music will continue
and flourish. I look forward to working with them, and others, as we
together collaborate and develop plans for new music programs and projects.

I also wish to express my thanks to members of the choir for their hard work
and dedicated service to the church. Indeed, each and every member of the
choir has earned “time off” during the summer. Enjoy!
